Tim HB Ltd was established in 2004 and is able to offer a broad base of engineering services to clients. It is a small, well-organised practice, consisting of an experienced Chartered Structural Engineer with Associates including a Civil Engineer, and several experienced Technician engineers. All personnel have worked with the Director for up to 20 years and have come through the ‘traditional route', originally working on the drawing board.
Considerable emphasis is placed upon the provision of the highest quality personal service. The Practice aims to provide a rapid and efficient response to clients' requests and its size facilitates this. The small and dedicated team communicate effectively, enabling any issues arising on a project to quickly be resolved.
All personnel are fee earning allowing overheads to be kept to a minimum, which results in a cost-effective and competitive service provided to clients.
Project Size
Projects we are involved in are large and small, typically up to a value of approximately £2.5m.
Insurance
We hold Professional Indemnity Insurance of up to £2.0 million.

Timothy Brigstocke CEng MIStructE
Tim has over 25 years engineering experience in the design and detailing of building projects including large retail complexes, shopping centres, superstores, industrial, commercial and housing developments. Fluent in the use of CAD, he started his career on the drawing board and progressed through to Associate Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers and subsequently Chartered Engineer level in 2008. He previously worked for large consultants including White Young Green Consulting Engineers before starting Tim HB Ltd in 2004. He sits on the Committee of the Institution of Structural Engineers, Western Counties Branch.
Tim adopts a very personal, hands-on approach. He prides himself on being honest and open with clients as to what the best, most cost-effective solution to their needs might be. His reputation has been built on providing an efficient, proactive service, with high attention to detail. This may be reflected in the large proportion of word-of-mouth recommendations and repeat business received by the Practice.
